Ruby’s site is developing a long tail. Embedded within its posts and comments is a timeline, an institutional memory of 2 years of Chapel Hill and Orange/Durham/Chatham County politics.

WillR, Ruby’s done a great thing w/ OrangePolitics, for sure, but that community was built, too, by inveterate commenters! =)

It’s true. Good point, ae! I have one goal and the commenters, en masse, have another. The resulting blog/community is at the intersection of the two.
