Please perform the needed traffic impact studies, stormwater management protocols, and housing density oversights for a planned development (AURA) which will have drastic environmental impact on the entire surrounding area. Please do all that you can to enforce regulations on this developer which has deviated from their original stated plan in critical ways.

Please be aware, also, that people from out of town have contacted me with the information that Chapel Hill is gaining the reputation of becoming an undesirable place to live due to rampant overdevelopment. They themselves are refusing to move here, and are warning off their friends and acquaintances as well. 

In addition, I have only to mention "Chapel Hill" as my place of residence in coast-to-coast webinars, to be told by other webinar participants that the town now has a terrible nationwide reputation for insensitive, unecological, rampant development. 

Finally, the existing aquifer and water supplies will eventually not support this continuing, extensive development. We face becoming a ghost town if these trends - geared toward the benefit of developers - continue unchecked.

Please please please exercise good stewardship in these positions to which you all have been elected. You are making decisions not just for us but for generations out. How do you want to be remembered?
